The MaxFx Tax Calculator
1.2 is a must for just about everyone, easy to use and calculates
sales tax both ways, adding sales tax from a before tax number and
removing the sales tax from a number That has tax included.
We have made every effort to ensure that the calculations are as
accurate as possible, though there is still is still some work on
the algorithm as at a
thousand units there is a rounding of with an excess of 0.01 and at
10000 units 0.02 (I need to refine the algorithm some more).
I first wrote a sales tax program in 1996 using Turbo Pascal
7.0, to add sales tax to a unit, for my own use, upgraded to
Delphi 3.0 in 2000, but have since found that this program wasn't
complete enough, hence the MaxFx Tax Calculator.
I have kept this program simple and easy to use for a number of
reasons. It is not meant as a scientific tool but just a quick method
find a percentage within units.
